About the Work

This black and white photograph of Elvis was extensively damaged. Creased, stained, and torn completely in half, this photo also suffered from tape and adhesive residue left on its verso from a previous repair job that was not performed by a conservator. Cleaning, lining, and inpainting done by our conservators helped to restore this piece and ensure its preservation.
