About the Work

Published in 1928, this book consisted of loose pages of printed text and multi-colored pochoirs inside of a cloth-covered folio. When it arrived in our lab, this book needed cleaning and treatment to arrest mold growth on its fore edge and remove the associated staining and odor. Tears and ink losses were also repaired to return this book to a beautiful and functional state.
